Le Zouave de Neptune

Each year, there is one possibility out of a hundred that the Seine overflow, the authorities have implemented a contingency plan in case of a flood called “Plan Neptune”. The disaster doesn’t occur today more often than yesterday, but it always ends up happening. When it happens, there are only two figures who are not affected by the collapse of the social structure: the mad and the wise. Those who don’t try to run away or cheat death but wait for it in ecstasy. Between the two, are situated the Zouave, the guardian of the temple, it is the one who, despite the desperate situation, is scatterbrained enough to conclude his mission, with fantasy as sole lifeline.
